Money Copilot AI is a personal finance assistant you talk to. You tell it what you spent in your own words — in its own space, or from inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or any other MCP client — and it categorises the expense, tracks it against your budgets, and answers questions about where your money went. It is built and operated by My Copilot AI LLC.
What Money Copilot does
Most money apps begin by asking you to connect a bank and then sorting the transactions they find. Money Copilot begins with a sentence. You write or say what you spent, and it works out the amount, the category and the date, files it, and keeps a running picture of the month.
- Logs expenses in plain language, including from a photo of a receipt.
- Tracks budgets per category, with email alerts before a limit is crossed rather than after.
- Answers questions about your own records — what repeats, what changed, what is safe to spend.
- Works inside the assistant you already use. It is a remote MCP server, so ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and other clients can use your finance tools directly. Connecting takes a URL and a sign-in.
What it deliberately does not do
This matters as much as the feature list, and we would rather you knew before signing up than after.
- It does not connect to your bank. There is no institution search, no credentials to hand over, and no read-only feed of your account. Nothing is imported that you did not record.
- It does not give financial advice. Money Copilot describes what you have spent and what your own budgets say. It is not a financial adviser, it does not recommend products, and nothing it tells you is a personalised recommendation.
- It does not do investments. No portfolios, no holdings, no market data. It is a spending and budgeting tool.

Money Copilot AI is a product of My Copilot AI LLC, a company registered in the United States. We are a small independent team; the product is not backed by, affiliated with, or operated on behalf of any bank or financial institution.

How your data is handled
Because there is no bank connection, the only financial data we hold is what you chose to record. It is tied to the account you sign in with and is not sold or shared for advertising.
When you connect an AI client over MCP, that client signs in through OAuth 2.0 with PKCE and receives access only to your own space — each person authorises separately, and one connection cannot reach another account’s records. The privacy policy sets out retention, your rights, and how to have data deleted; the documentation covers the technical side.
How we make money
From subscriptions, and only from subscriptions. Plans start at $5 a month, every plan opens with a 14-day free trial if you have never been billed, and you are not charged if you cancel before the trial ends. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
There is no advertising in the product, and your records are not a source of revenue. See the plans and what each one includes.
